Everything about the lack of questions concerning elena is exactly my point & frustrating.
This isn’t good television or they would have shown/told us elena ‘s thought process about how she feels about everything that has happened to her.
If those questions are supposed to be left unanswered or left to the audience’s interpretation for suspension. Then it saddens me to say, but once a show that knew how to do suspension & pace is not so much anymore.

We are thinking of the big stuff: Elena is going to go to college, which will be huge, but we want to keep it grounded in Mystic Falls as well. Obviously Damon isn’t going to go to college; but Caroline and Bonnie and Elena are roommates…. We want to keep the stories intertwined, and not just have separate college storylines.
