You know why so many are voicing their annoyance with Caroline?  It’s the idea that she is taking Elena’s choice away. Regardless how badly Caroline may disagree or have a biased/skewed opinion about Damon (rightfully so). She is being blunt, jugdey, and nearly tactless how she is voicing her concern and practically demanding, suggesting, or telling Elena what she thinks is right, but she believes she is doing this in Elena’s best interest. 

This is exactly what I think is comical and ironic about the situation. I am not sure how many cannot see this is almost a parallel to Damon with human Elena. He constantly tried to tell Elena what she should do and voice his concern and opinions on various different subjects. He was tactless, rude, and blunt majority of the times, but he felt he was doing what was right/in the best interest for Elena. I suppose because he has a penis and the show romanticized it that many had no problem with it then,but many are just furious with Caroline. 

Caroline and Damon were similar in many ways as humans. They both felt insecure, second best, or not good enough by many, unwanted, etc. The constant hate for Caroline is hilarious considering Damon practical did the same thing. 

Elena might have been different post her parents’ accident but I’m sure she always had her  kind,loving, compassion for others while she was being the “popular girl”. It’s been the same way with Tyler and Caroline. We knew he came across as a douche. Whereas, Caroline seemed like the biggest bitch. Their insecurities, jealousy, hot headed temperature still exist. People are complex. Just because Elena is a vampire now does not mean she will be “popular girl-bitch” for the remaining of the show. 

I’m not understanding how people think she is going to be a one dimensional character for the rest of the show… ?

Season Four…..

So, Stefan and Caroline will have their friendship explore deeper with romantic implications or….? I am down with Stefan having another love interest for a while (I said a while) but I really love my Tyler and Caroline. I can’t even get Tyler because he will “Klaus” for a while :(. That will be good work for Michael though (happy for that).

I don’t want to see Caroline and Elena “fight” over a boy either. Hmmm, I am happy with their friendship they are willing to explore in season four but I am also skeptical. 

I need a moment here. I’m just so happy to see Tyler & at a dance at that. With Caroline making her laugh. Now, I just need Klaus to GTFO the picture.

Everybody else is going on about Stefan/Elena & Damon/Elena for 3x19. All I see is Tyler & Caroline!
