I’m calling it now…..(especially after that webclip).
I don’t think Elena will make the choice. One of the brothers will do it for her. Paul said Stefan would do something we wouldn’t be pleased with.
Elena is wearing the same outfit(maybe she is wearing it in the flashback too idk).
Stefan, feels this is his fault that he let Elena go. He isn’t going to punish her and Damon for that. He is not selfish like that either. His brother stepped in and tried to hold MF down as much as he could while the “hero”(as Damon likes to refer to him) was gone.
The car scene last night seemed to have been a parallel to the coin toss/car scene. In that situation Damon took one for the team. In this case I think Stefan will. Not just for Elena but he truly wants his brother to be happy. He asked him to protect his gf while he was gone & he did(although, he was making moves too but I digress from that).
I think Stefan is going to compel her to forget about him.
Besides, this allows Damon & Elena to get their feelings sorted. This puts into motion of Elena eventually becoming a vampire.
I love Stefan. I love Stefan & Elena together but they as a couple & individually have to overcome obstacles.
In the end I’m always going to be team Defan though!
